Migration Points Advice (MPA) Program

You are eligible to apply for the Migration Points Advice (MPA) Program.

Do you have an Australian qualification directly related to your occupation?

You must have:

  • received this qualification while studying in Australia
  • had your qualification issued by a Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) registered training organisation (RTO)

Job Ready Program (JRP)

Our recommended skills assessment program is Job Ready Program (JRP).

Please note: A valid Provisional Skills Assessment is required to participate in the Job Ready Program (JRP).

Temporary Skills Shortage Skills Assessment (TSS) Program

Our recommended skills assessment program is Temporary Skills Shortage Skills Assessment Program (TSS).

Do you have the following:

Offshore Skills Assessment Program (OSAP)

Our recommended skills assessment program is Offshore Skills Assessment Program (OSAP).

Do you have the following:

You may also be eligible for Offshore Skills Assessment Program (OSAP).

If your occupation requires a relevant Australian Qualification Framework certificate, you may wish to consider the OSAP program. If you would like more information regarding which programs to apply for, please contact us.

Do you already hold a full Australian licence, without limitations, to work as an electrician?
Do you have the following:

You may be exempt from needing a skills assessment to support your 482 visa application.

Please confirm with the Department of Home Affairs that your visa pathway and circumstances requires a skills assessment before proceeding with a TSS Skills Assessment.

If the Department of Home Affairs says you do require a skills assessment, our recommended program is: Temporary Skills Shortage Skills Assessment Program (TSS).

Do you have the following:

A qualification directly related to your occupation and at least three years of directly related full time paid employment (or equivalent part-time)? This should include 12 months of full time paid employment (or equivalent part-time) completed in the last three years.

Provisional Skills Assessment (PSA)

Our recommended skills assessment program is Provisional Skills Assessment (PSA).

Not Eligible

Based on the information provided, you are not eligible for an assessment by Trades Recognition Australia.
