Opportunity for free and fast skills assessment for migrants until June 2023

We are offering a free fast-tracked skills assessment for migrants as Pilot 2 of the Australian Government’s Skills Assessment Pilots. Skilled migrants are an important source of talent that Australia relies upon for filling priority occupations in shortage.
You may be able to access a fast-tracked skills assessment if you have unrecognised skills in your chosen occupation. Having your skills assessed as suitable for Australian workplaces will improve chances of getting a job. Businesses and employers will have the confidence that you have the skills they need to do the job.
Having your skills assessed through the Skills Assessment Pilots program will not affect any in progress or future visa applications. The only purpose of the free assessment is to help alleviate skills shortages and enable you to contribute to Australia’s economic recovery from COVID-19.

Am I eligible?
To be able to apply for a free assessment you must:
- have not previously undergone a skills assessment for the nominated occupation,
