Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) is aware that the employment arrangements for some Job Ready Program (JRP) participants may have been impacted as a result of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID 19) outbreak. If your employment circumstances have changed and you believe your skills assessment may be impacted please email TRA at jrpenquiries [at] dese.gov.au. Please include your full name and TRA reference number in the subject line of your email and provide details for your situation, including if your workplace has closed temporarily, your work hours have been reduced, or your employment has been terminated due to COVID 19.
If you are a JRP participant who has applied for a Job Ready Workplace Assessment (JRWA), or has completed sufficient hours to be eligible for a JRWA, you will be supported to continue through this step of the JRP. Where it is possible TRA will continue to conduct workplace assessments, noting the current government restrictions which have been put in place – advice will be provided to JRP participants if assessments will need to be delayed.
